Does This Make Heart Disease Better, asks Corte Madera chiropractor Dr Harte

Here's a popular heart drug, Verapamil, specifically for the treatment of high blood pressure and angina. Check out those side effects. Note that some of those side effects listed show that the drug can make the heart worse, even TERMINALLY so, as in dead. Huh? Yes. This is what is called in Medicine a "paradoxical effect," the opposite of what one expects.

Well, when you try to just suppress symptoms, instead of correcting the cause (as Chiropractic does), you're going to run into problems

Verapamil
A calcium channel blocker used for
the management of hypertension and angina

WARNINGS:
Heart failure
Hypotension
Elevated liver enzymes

ADVERSE REACTIONS:
Cardiovascular:   angina pectoris, AV block (2° & 3°), atrioventricular dissociation, congestive heart failure, pulmonary edema, chest pain, claudication, myocardial infarction (heart attack), palpitations, purpura (vasculitis), syncope (fainting).

Digestive system: diarrhea, dry mouth, gastrointestinal distress, gingival (gums) hyperplasia.

Hemic and lymphatic: ecchymosis or bruising.

Nervous system: cerebro-vascular accident (stroke), confusion, equilibrium disorders, insomnia, muscle cramps, psychotic symptoms, shakiness, somnolence (excessive sleeping).

Skin:   arthralgia (pin in the joints) and rash, exanthema, hair loss, hyperkeratosis, macules, sweating, urticaria (hives), Stevens-Johnson syndrome, erythema multiforme.

Urogenital:  gynecomastia (men growing breasts), galactorrhea/hyperprolactinemia, increased urination, spotty menstruation, impotence.

Or, you can go for health. If you has better nerve supply to the heart, might it work better? Might you be healthier... naturally?
